Role OverviewThe Project Engineer is responsible for designs and deliverables that support the permitting and construction of renewable energy projects. They apply general engineering knowledge to design a complete project independently and direct and review work by staff engineers and technicians.
What You Will Do
Complete designs and deliverables to support the permitting, designing, and construction of renewable energy projects. Collaborate with and direct other design team members to complete design tasks and produce project deliverables.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy or display passion to learn about the renewable energy industry. Experience managing Land Development or Public Infrastructure projects is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 2-4 years of experience in the discipline within the A&E industry
- EIT certification required, recent PE preferred
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with department personnel and office staff
- Must be detail-oriented and efficient in problem-solving
