Job Description
The Civil Rights/EEO Officer serves as the Department expert concerning civil rights, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and non-discrimination guidance and issues in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, personnel management, public administration, business management, or a closely related field.
  • Five years of related professional-level experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations involved in prohibiting discrimination and harassment, including but not limited to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Workers Compensation, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Montana Wrongful Discharge from Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Civil Rights Acts, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Montana Human Rights Law, etc.
