Role OverviewThe Civil Rights Investigator 1 will conduct intake with charging parties, prepare charge affidavits, and investigate single issue charges of discrimination. The role involves gathering evidence, conducting onsite and/or fact-finding conferences, and maintaining a satisfactory level of production to meet contractual obligations.

The investigator will conduct intake, prepare charge affidavits, investigate cases, gather evidence, and conduct onsite and/or fact-finding conferences. They will also maintain a satisfactory level of production and perform clerical tasks.

Requirements
- Completion of associate program coursework or undergraduate core coursework in human resources, business administration, public administration, liberal arts or related field of study
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in investigation methods & techniques
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in interviewing
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in human relations, public relations or equivalent experience in dealing with general public
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of personal computer/video display terminal
