Role OverviewThe Claims Adjuster receives, analyzes, negotiates, documents, and resolves assigned claims with values up to authorized limit, and completes associated subrogation and recovery processes. This role requires work in a corporate office environment and occasional travel to U.S. locations, including Hawaii. The Claims Adjuster will process and resolve claims, recoveries, and subrogations in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
What You Will Do
The primary objectives of this role include processing and resolving claims, recoveringies, and subrogations in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. The Claims Adjuster will also record claims information timely in appropriate data systems, collect, complete, and submit all required documentation, and ensure payments are processed with appropriate release and financial protocols.

Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of college-level coursework and experience
- 3+ years' related, relevant claims experience (e.g. cargo transportation)
- Knowledge of and ability to apply handling characteristics of specialty cargo in claims adjudication process
- Demonstrated business communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in the use of claims RMIS or other claims database software
