Kinsale Insurance is a nationally recognized leader in the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market, specializing in hard-to-place, small to mid-sized commercial risks. We are seeking a talented Claims Counsel to join our Professional Lines Division in Richmond, VA.

Requirements

  • Experience in handling or litigating Employment Practices, professional liability, or healthcare-related claims
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate coverage and liability in complex matters
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in drafting coverage analyses and correspondence
  • Confident oral communicator with effective negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active litigated files
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
