Role OverviewThe Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating and caring for the clamp truck, taking rolls of paper to the corrugator, and performing various duties to maximize equipment utilization and meet production goals.
What You Will Do
Daily responsibilities include operating the clamp truck, unloading rolls, checking for damage, completing inspection reports, and maintaining the warehouse. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the corrugated industry, industrial power truck or heavy equipment operating experience, and 6 months experience on the wet end of the corrugator. Strong mathematical and reasoning skills are also required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
- Prior industrial power truck or heavy equipment operating experience
- 6 months experience on the wet end of the corrugator
- Current Lift Truck/Clamp Truck Operator License
