Role OverviewSuper-Sod, a trusted turfgrass supplier since 1892, is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to transport seed, sod, and soil products to customers. This full-time role involves regional vehicle operations between farms, retail facilities, and properties, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
What You Will Do
Operate company-owned and leased trucks for shipping, receiving, delivery, pickup, and relocation of farm products. Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle maintenance, provide outstanding customer service, and operate material handling equipment like forklifts. Maintain DOT, OSHA, and company safety certifications.

Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 23 years of age
- 2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving required
- Clean driving record with no major or excessive violations within previous 3 years
- Must possess valid Class A CDL and Medical Card, including multi-state certification status
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
- Alert, focused, and detail oriented
- Physically and mentally fit
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
- Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts
- Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
- Map reading and route planning experience
- An innate sense of direction
- Self-starter who works well independently
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- High level of composure and good stress management
- High school diploma or GED required
