Role OverviewAs a Class B Driver at XPO, you will safely operate a straight truck, provide excellent service to customers, and load/unload freight. You will work a flexible schedule, up to 12-14 hours in a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
What You Will Do
On a typical day, you will operate a straight truck, load/unload freight, and provide excellent service to customers. You will also be required to lift objects, climb in/out of the truck, and walk/stand for extended periods.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a safe driving record, a Class B CDL without air brake restriction, and the ability to pass a DOT drug test and physical. You will also need to have or obtain a Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify as Non-Exempt Interstate.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Class B CDL without air brake restriction
- Safe driving record and history
- Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals
- Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test (physical essential functions)
- Have, or the ability to obtain, a Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify as Non-Exempt Interstate
- Currently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials and tank endorsements within 90 days of employment
