Class Size Teacher - MS Math Teacher

The Class Size Teacher will be responsible for instructional planning, providing written lesson plans, and maintaining accurate records of pupils' achievements. They will also establish and maintain reasonable rules of conduct within the classroom and on school grounds. The Class Size Teacher will work under the supervision of the school principal and participate in programs to improve student attendance and promote anti-vandalism programs. They will also communicate with parents or guardians and counsel pupils on their academic progress, attendance, and conduct.

The Class Size Teacher will be responsible for the following duties: instructional planning, implementing instructional methods, maintaining accurate attendance records, and establishing and maintaining reasonable rules of conduct. They will also participate in programs to improve student attendance, promote anti-vandalism programs, and communicate with parents or guardians.

Requirements

• Successful completion of all student teaching requirements and course work required to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
• Possession of at least one of the following valid teaching licenses issued by the Illinois State Board of Education: a Professional Educator License (PEL), an Educator License with Stipulations (ELS)
• Knowledge of subject matter consistent with state certification requirements, knowledge of contemporary principles and practice of teaching, and knowledge of classroom and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to modify instruction to meet student needs, ability to cooperate with the school faculty and administration, and ability to work effectively with pupils, parents, and guardians.
