Role OverviewThe Class Size Teacher Assistant will assist in the supervision of students, provide security functions, and perform related duties under the supervision of a teacher. The role requires good knowledge of English grammar and spelling, basic mathematics, and Chicago Public Schools rules and regulations. The Class Size Teacher Assistant must possess a valid TASN (NCLB) paraprofessional license from the Illinois State Board of Education.
What You Will Do
Assist in the supervision of students during lunchroom and playground activities, provide security functions, assist students in understanding and completing classroom assignments, and operate audiovisual equipment.
