Role OverviewCreate and maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, provide positive educational experiences for all students, and assume student supervision responsibilities of the regular teacher.
What You Will Do
Report to the specified school each day, maintain good classroom control, discipline, and management, and teach up to a maximum of seven (7) periods per day.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a minimum of 180 student days of employment during the school year, minus any days of absence, and be familiar with assigned school's procedures.
Requirements
- Earned sixty (60) semester credit hours from an accredited institution
- Attend and complete the Substitute Teacher Training Workshop during the current school year
- Qualify for a Broward County Substitute Teaching Certificate
- Computer skills as required for the position
