Job Description
The Housing Litigation Division (HLD) of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is seeking a Clerical Support/Community Associate to assist with conferences and settlements of cases, prepare legal pleadings, and perform administrative work. The role will be responsible for tasks such as data entry, retrieving and reviewing heat and hot water violations, and coordinating cases with the court. The preferred skills for this position include knowledge of computer entry, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in community work or community centered activities
  • Authorization to work in the United States
