Role Overview

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual for a Clerk 3 position in the Collections Enforcement Section. The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks for attorneys and other office staff. The position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule and may require in-person training and operational needs.

What You Will Do

The duties for this position include performing specialized clerical tasks, managing office records and/or files, performing general clerical tasks, acting as a floater within the section, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic, reading, writing, and speaking common English vocabulary
  • 8 months training or 8 months experience in office practices and procedures
  • 4 months training or 4 months experience in using a calculator or adding machine
  • 3 months training or 3 months experience in public relations
  • 4 months experience as Clerk 2
  • Alternative, equivalent evidence of the Major Worker Characteristics
