In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for taking daily surgical bookings in a professional and timely manner. Communicates with Medical Director
and Nurse Managers on any information pertinent to the daily function of the Operating Room. Performs all computer
related functions.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties necessary to ensure smooth function of the Operating
Room. Acts as liaison between provider offices and LIC staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Communicates with Nurse Managers and Operating Room Director, all information pertinent to case flow. Answers
telephones, checks voice mail timely and appropriately.
• Responsible to report and recognize computer errors and alerts Manager of errors in a timely manner. Contacts
help desk when necessary.
• Responsible for auditing and distributing daily reports.
• Schedules cases efficiently and accurately. Maximizes room utilization. Registers patient demographic
information.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or GED. Strong communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, resourceful, multitasking
skills and customer service. . Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 – 2 years Receptionist, secretary, customer service or clerical experience. Knowledge of medical terminology.
