Role OverviewAs a Climbing Arborist Trainee, you will learn to climb trees, operate as a member of a tree crew, and perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully. What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include learning to climb trees, pruning and thinning trees, removing deadwood, installing cables and bracing systems, and properly maintaining and operating equipment.

You will be a good fit for this role if you have a love of the outdoors, a background in forestry, horticulture, landscaping, or working at heights, and the ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program and other required courses.
Requirements
- Love of the outdoors
- Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
