Role Overview

The Clinic Assistant will provide administrative support to the clinic team, including greeting visitors and patients, verifying patient demographics, and maintaining confidentiality of patient information. The role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual with experience in direct care and electronic medical records.

What You Will Do

The Clinic Assistant will perform front desk and clinic responsibilities, including checking in appointments, collecting co-pays, and maintaining inventory of medications and clinic supplies. The role also involves guiding patients in the collection of specimens, processing specimens, and documenting patient charts.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree with 1 year direct care experience
  • Diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with 1 year direct care experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years experience with an electronic medical record is preferred. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
