Role Overview

The Clinic Nurse/Injection Room LPN/RN is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and application of job duties within scope of practice and functions under the direction of their manager(s) and/or Director(s). The role involves providing direct care during assigned duty hours, participating in department activities, promoting independence, and advocating for the quality of life of our patients while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards.

What You Will Do

The Clinic Nurse/Injection Room LPN/RN will perform various duties such as preparing rooms for patients, escorting patients to treatment rooms, assisting doctors with skin testing and other procedures, sending prescriptions, and administering medications. They will also perform pulmonary function testing, FeNO testing, and peak flow monitoring, as well as patient education regarding medications and environmental control.

The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, the ability to fluently speak and read English, and the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans, and procedure manuals. The candidate will also have a minimum of 1-2 years of related nursing experience and a current, valid, compact LPN or RN license in good standing to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.

Requirements

  • Diploma from an accredited LPN program
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current, valid, compact LPN or RN license in good standing to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Current, valid CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of related nursing experience
