Job Description

Under the direct supervision and delegation of the physician, the nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and holds a current Arkansas licensure as a licensed practical nurse.
Training and Experience: Individualized orientation period of no less than 2 weeks and, generally, no greater than 3 months.
Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments and medication, collection of patient data relevant to the plan of care/problem list, collaborating with other healthcare providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
Must possess demonstrated knowledge, training and skills necessary and appropriate to the neonate, child, adolescent and adult and older adult.
