Role OverviewThe Department of Youth Services is seeking a Clinical Administrator to work with adolescent/young adult males, providing clinical social work services, and promoting maximum psychosocial functioning. The incumbent will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, performing intake functions, organizing clinical services, and developing treatment plans.
What You Will Do
Provide advocacy, supervise staff, provide consultation and education, lead/co-lead therapy groups, provide crisis interventions, individual therapy, and family therapy, oversee treatment planning, and ensure all clinical documentation is completed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience working with juvenile offenders, residential settings, substance abuse assessment, and suicide prevention/intervention strategies. Strong clinical and organizational skills are required, along with administrative supervision experience and licensure supervision.
Requirements
- At least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience as a clinical social worker after earning a Master's degree in social work.
- Licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work is required.
- A Master's or higher degree in social work is required.
- One year of experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
