Job Description
The School of Health Sciences at Purdue University invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure-track clinical faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The position includes teaching responsibilities in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biomedical Health Sciences, and service as Director of the Medical Laboratory Sciences program.

Requirements

  • Teach existing undergraduate courses and develop new courses required for students in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biomedical Health Sciences programs
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching through innovative, evidence-based pedagogy, curriculum development, and effective student education and mentoring
  • Provide academic and administrative leadership and support continued program growth
  • Serve on faculty committees
  • Oversee daily program operations, coordinate clinical placements, maintain and expand partnerships with affiliated clinical laboratories, support student recruitment and retention, advise students, and assist with undergraduate course scheduling
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure curriculum aligns with professional standards and workforce needs
