Clinical Assistant- Women's Care

Requirements

• Answers telephones promptly and handles/screens calls
• Verifies insurance coverage and conducts income determinations
• Obtains and documents vital signs, height, weight and required intake information
• Prepares exam rooms, equipment and supplies prior to provider entry
• Assists medical/nursing providers with exams and procedures
• Documents all patient care accurately and timely in the EHR
• Communicates provider-directed lab and diagnostic test results
• Collaborates with providers, nurses, and care team members
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity throughout the encounter
• Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives and workflow improvement
