Job Description
Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry is searching for a Clinical Director/Hygienist for its Tamaqua, PA clinic. The Clinical Director will oversee the operational functions of the clinic, including managing staff, finances, and patient care, while also working closely with faculty and other providers to resolve any issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience managing a large medical or dental clinic, as well as a current or ability to obtain a PA dental hygienist license.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a large medical or dental clinic
  • Current or ability to obtain a PA dental hygienist license
  • Ability to travel between clinical locations in Philadelphia and Tamaqua
  • Ability to obtain PA Child Abuse Clearances
  • Expert knowledge of preauthorization and reimbursement process
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule, supervise, and develop staff
  • Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, along with the ability to manage projects and prioritize work flows
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with a diverse population of faculty, students, staff, and patients
