Role OverviewThe Clinical Informatics Intermediate collaborates with operations and Information Systems on the design and use of informatics solutions that support the vision of Hennepin Healthcare System. They serve as a clinical and technical skilled resource to nursing, medical staff, and other patient care areas to link clinical practice, processes, technology, and information to enhance patient care across all HHS locations.
What You Will Do
Excels at supporting patient care and operational areas in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient, effective, and equitable clinical information and operational systems. Utilizes clinical/nursing and process knowledge to facilitate the design, validation and implementation support of future components of the clinical information systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Clinical Informatics experience – 3 years or more
- Certification in Epic
- Familiarity with computer programming, statistical tools, databases and evidence-based medicine or medical research methodology
