Role OverviewPerforms clinical education duties under the direction of the Program Director and clinical supervisor. Supervises clinical education, evaluates progress, maintains records, and counsels students in the clinical setting.

Requirements
- Licensed by the New York State Department of Health and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required, Bachelor Degree or pursuing a degree preferred
- Experience as staff technologist in a hospital setting for a minimum of two years
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical instruction and student evaluation through experience or by pursuing courses pertinent to the profession
- Knowledgeable of program goals, understands the clinical objectives and clinical evaluation system
- Positive and effective communication skills for interaction with students, patients, physicians, and staff
- Sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and family in a professional compassionate manner
- Successfully completed the Clinical Instructor Academy through the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists)
- Approved Clinical Instructor with the JRCERT within one year
