Role OverviewThe Clinical Laboratory Assistant works under the general supervision of the laboratory section manager in support of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists and Technicians.
What You Will Do
Perform duties in the technical areas of the laboratory including specimen handling, inventory, maintenance and others as assigned.
Requirements
- One year experience in phlebotomy/EKG is preferred.
- Provide proof of formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training is required (annual recertification is not required); PBT (ASCP) certification highly desirable.
