Job Description
Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join their team in Burlington, NC. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and reporting accurate test results. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, and 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience. Alternatively, an MLS degree can be considered in lieu of the education requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
  • 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
  • ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
  • Understanding of laboratory operations and policies and procedures
  • Experience working in a high volume laboratory environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems
  • High level of attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
