Role OverviewThe Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership and operational oversight while promoting high-quality, resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, staff accountability, and positive clinical outcomes. This position works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), nursing leadership, physicians, CNAs/CNA-Is, rehabilitation professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate resident care.

Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for assigned skilled nursing and long-term care units. Supervise, coach, mentor, and hold nursing staff accountable for quality resident care and adherence to facility standards.

Requirements
- Current, active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience, preferably including experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or another post-acute healthcare setting.
- Prior nursing leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, unit manager, or clinical management experience strongly preferred.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of practice, clinical documentation, infection prevention, resident rights, and skilled nursing and long-term care regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to assess resident conditions, recognize changes in condition, exercise sound clinical judgment, and appropriately escalate concerns.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing and long-term care environment.
