Role OverviewDelivers nursing care to patients in the emergency department under general supervision. Responsible for assessing and analyzing patient health status, planning and implementing patient care, and communicating with the healthcare team.
What You Will Do
Assesses and analyzes patient health status, performs ongoing assessments, and documents patient care. Initiates discharge planning, updates patient plans, and directs care team members. Communicates with the healthcare team and provides patient education.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a registered nurse with an associate's degree and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and STABLE. Must demonstrate knowledge of patient assessment and care specific to the needs of the patient populations served.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- License Issued by Florida or Compact State
- Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
