Role OverviewThe Clinical Nurse reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The nurse is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned group of patients.
What You Will Do
The nurse will develop an individualized age-specific culturally sensitive nursing plan of care for the patient, use a team approach to develop and achieve daily patient-centered individualized care goals, and promote and strive to protect the health, safety and rights of the patient.

Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher
- Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association
- Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative)
- Oral, listening and written communication skills
- Strong human relation skills to interact effectively and collaborate with others in difficult situations
