Role OverviewThe Clinical Nurse Educator will play a pivotal role in advancing the professional development of Nursing Assistants across Duke University Health System (DUHS). This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and support the continuum of DUHS Nursing Assistant programs, including NAI, NAI +4, NAII, and both licensed and unlicensed professional development pathways.
What You Will Do
The Clinical Nurse Educator will inspire, educate, and develop the next generation of Nursing Assistants by facilitating educational programs and creating meaningful professional development opportunities for current team members. They will also have the opportunity to make a broad impact across the health system by teaching life support courses, supporting orientation and onboarding programs, and contributing to Pathways to Practice initiatives.

Requirements
- BSN required
- MSN preferred
- 1 YOE in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility as an RN is required
- 3 years of nursing, clinical educator, or nursing instructor experience required
- Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or compact license from participating state is required
- BLS provider certification required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP Instructor level certification is preferred
