Role Overview

The Clinical Nurse II is a registered nurse who practices as a full partner on the healthcare team and consistently demonstrates safe practice within the organizational professional practice model. The nurse independently provides patient care through the application of the nursing process and accepts accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.

What You Will Do

The nurse will provide patient care through the application of the nursing process, manage complex patient care assignments, and participate in building consensus and resolving conflict in the context of patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred, will consider ADN on a pathway to BSN or ADN with 25 or more years of experience
  • Minimum of one (1) or more years of acute care experience as a registered nurse
  • Registered Nurse by California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Basic Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support
