Role OverviewUnder general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Tampa General Hospital. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights.
What You Will Do
Assesses and analyzes the health status of patients, performs ongoing assessments, initiates discharge planning, plans patient care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team, directs and coordinates patient care activities, communicates the plan of care, documents all patient care, transcribes physician orders, provides patient education, and conducts ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes.

Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, a Registered Nurse license issued by Florida or Compact State, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
