Role OverviewThe Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for Sepsis serves as the clinical expert and nursing leader responsible for advancing sepsis prevention, early identification, evidence-based management, and quality outcomes across the organization.

Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers, takes responsibility for self-development, performs patient assessment, establishes plan of care, collaborates with other healthcare providers, and contributes to the educational development of staff.

Requirements
- MSN degree in Nursing
- 1+ years of work experience (preferably)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships
- Entry-level proficiency/competency
- Computer skills to access patient medical data
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License
- Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferably)
- Current APRN License
