Role Overview

The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time Tenure-track or Clinical-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Large Animal Surgery. The successful candidate will care for all large animal species with a predominant focus on large animal surgery. They will participate in the discovery, learning, and engagement missions of the PVM and VCS department, including clinical research, teaching, and service.

What You Will Do

The clinical responsibility will be caring for all large animal species with a predominant focus on large animal surgery. The successful candidate will also instruct veterinary students, veterinary nursing students, and house officers, and build strong relationships with referring veterinarians.

Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • completion of a residency program registered by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS), or board certification by the ACVS
