Role OverviewResponsible for accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy, including general clinical pharmacy services to patients, nurses and medical staff. Participates in Pharmacotherapy Consult service, staff development and education, and targeted drug programs.
What You Will Do
Assesses the age-specific needs of patients served while monitoring patient medication use and processing medication orders. Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy
- Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida
- Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of prior hospital pharmacy experience
