Role Overview

The position is located in the Traumatic Brain Injury Center Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. The psychologist will treat patients in intensive outpatient programs with a holistic health model and work closely with rehab providers and interventionalists to tailor programs toward the needs of active-duty service members with persistent post-concussive symptoms.

What You Will Do

Conduct psychological assessments, develop and monitor clinical treatment plans, and conduct individual and group therapy sessions. Provide expert oversight of training in diagnosis and treatment to certified and intern counselors.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Experience working with functional restoration programs, acceptance and commitment therapy, or interdisciplinary programs is a plus. A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required
  • Preferred Fellowship in Neuropsychology
  • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology
  • A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction
  • Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship
