Role OverviewThe Biostatistician works closely with the CRC Leadership and supports all phases of the UH Departments research enterprise to ensure scientifically valid research is conducted and that valid conclusions may be drawn.
What You Will Do
Performs statistical analysis, interacts with trainees, faculty, and staff, and maintains Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of relative experience
- 2+ years of experience in research and statistical analysis
- Demonstrate a working understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies
- Strong knowledge of at least one sophisticated statistical software package
- Working knowledge of one or more relational database packages
- Strong knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software
- Strong knowledge of sample size calculation and power analysis software
- Detail oriented, able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time across multiple projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
