Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I for its O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center. The successful candidate will provide support to team members, conduct activities in accordance with the protocol, regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and assist with the study life cycle from start-up to closure.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry preferred
  • Two (2) years' experience with hands-on interaction, assessment, and treatment of patients
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical technology, and electronic data capture
  • Experience with recruiting and performing follow-up with research participants
  • Knowledge of protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data quality assurance
  • Ability to walk 1.5 miles/day and lift 15 lbs

Benefits
