Role OverviewThe University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support studies and provide support to other team members within the confines of the protocol as directed.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will conduct activities in accordance with the protocol, regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), assist with the study life cycle from start-up to closure, and participate in recruitment of participants through screening efforts.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- three (3) years of related experience
- Clinical research experience
- Ability to lead others in the coordination of research activities involved in conducting Oncology clinical trials
- Knowledge of clinical research regulatory/compliance affairs
- Problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of related scientific and clinical terminology
- Leadership skills

- Organizational skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to walk at least one mile a day and lift up to 15 pounds a daily
