Job Description
The Clinical Services Representative assists the clinical staff by performing a variety of clerical tasks that ensure the efficiency of the unit and provide outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.

Requirements

  • Assembles charts for new admissions
  • Appropriately requisitions labwork, records admission in log book
  • Assists nurse as needed with new admit
  • Correctly disassembles discharge charts
  • Prepares unit for peak times
  • Assists with patient charges
  • Insures admission log book remains accurate
  • Maintains NICU equipment
  • Orders routine stock supplies
  • Stocks supplies at bedside
  • Ensures PKUs are mailed promptly
  • Competent in performing OAE screening
  • Observes security procedures
  • Greets visitors courteously
  • Directs traffic flow
  • Answers telephone
  • Assists physicians and other health care professions
