Role OverviewThe Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking an experienced Clinical Social Worker (AB) to provide direct service to individuals in 1:1 and group settings. The ideal candidate will promote recovery, hope, healing, empowerment, and connection. The role involves overseeing record review processes, providing evidence-based practices, and using recovery-oriented approaches to help clients prepare for a recovery process.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include providing comprehensive assessments, developing clinical formulations, and contributing expertise to staff members. The Clinical Social Worker will also assess client risk and safety, provide crisis intervention, and develop crisis management plans in collaboration with clients and other supports/providers.

Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work
- Master's or higher degree in social work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency
- Experience working with individuals having a serious or persistent mental illness
