Role Overview

This position is located at WOMACK Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, NC. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will work with highly complex cases, provide individual, family, and group clinical counseling services, and collect bio-psycho-social information about patients. You will analyze this information to determine psychiatric diagnosis, treatment plans, and/or advisability of counseling or referral to other specialists or institutions.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include working with complex cases, providing clinical counseling services, collecting bio-psycho-social information, analyzing this information, and developing treatment plans. You will also provide case management services, coordinate with other clinics and organizations, and continuously assess and respond to changing needs of patients.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction
  • One year of specialized experience in conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations of mental health patients, providing individual or group clinical counseling, and analyzing information collected to determine psychiatric diagnosis treatment plans or recommendations
