Role OverviewBoston Children’s Hospital at Waltham's campus has a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for children and adolescents experiencing behavioral health difficulties. We are currently seeking a 40 hour LICSW social worker to join our team!
What You Will Do
Providing short-term individual and group therapy to adolescent patients attending BCH's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)/Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Waltham, MA.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Assess and analyze the severity of youth’s presenting problems, including his/her strengths, challenges, environmental stressors and resources and identify the best modality and level of care for their specific problems related to illness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work
- MA LICSW licensure required
- Experience in a mental health, group therapy working with children, adolescents and families is ideal
- The ability to independently carry cases while working well within an interdisciplinary team model
