Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join their team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited school, with at least 1 year of hospital experience. The role involves performing job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and state and federal laws and regulations. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for performing all computer order entry in an accurate and timely manner, reviewing medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, and communicating drug information to physicians and nurses. The role also involves managing technicians and supportive personnel, and participating in cost-effective use and selection of pharmaceuticals.
