Job Description

This role will work 7 on and 7 off 10 hour shifts from 11am to 9:30pm. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, 1 year of pharmacy experience, and be eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Key responsibilities include performing computer order entry, reviewing medication orders, and communicating drug information to physicians and nurses. The position requires cross-training and multifunctional maintenance of competency in multiple areas, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • 1 year of pharmacy experience
  • Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
  • Texas license with TSBP within 30 Days
  • (ACPE-IV) STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification with course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
