Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist with a Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and 1 year of pharmacy experience. The position involves performing job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and environmental/infection control standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • 1 year of pharmacy experience
  • English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) is required Upon Hire
  • (ACPE-IV) STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE Upon Hire
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification with course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire
  • ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) will be required for inpatient positions within 180 Days
