Role Overview

The Clinical Staffing Specialist generates, manages, and updates master nursing schedules, adjusting as needed based on staffing, budget, attendance, and leave requirements. The role ensures communication between nursing leadership, staff, and external agencies while supporting payroll, orientation, and documentation processes.

What You Will Do

Manage and maintain the master staffing schedule; adjust for staffing needs, budget, and census changes. Prepare and update daily staffing sheets. Communicate consistently with the DON/ADON to ensure accurate scheduling.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and prior experience in staffing/scheduling or operations. Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medication Technician (Med Tech) is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a high paced environment preferably in staffing/scheduling or operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medication Technician (Med Tech) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with UKG strongly preferred
