Role Overview

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team, providing supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director, they may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. They work with a unit-specific patient population.

The Clinical Supervisor's main day-to-day responsibilities include supervising nursing operations, assuming 24-hour nursing responsibility, and working with a unit-specific patient population.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with three years of experience in a clinical area, or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two years of experience in a clinical area. The ideal candidate will have a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license, and must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
  • Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
