Role OverviewThe Clinical Therapist provides comprehensive mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families. The role includes conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
What You Will Do
Provide individual, group, and family therapy for mental health and/or substance use issues using various treatment modalities, including evidence-based practices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, and Rhode Island licensure as a LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Required
- Field of Study: Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Experience in Human Services field preferred
- Rhode Island licensure required: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A; certification as Principal Counselor or Counselor accepted in lieu of licensure
