Requirements

  • Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in acute care setting or specialized unit preferred
  • Registered Nurse with a current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Ability to perform basic nursing skills on groups of patients
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
  • Ability to administer medication utilizing the five rights
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form
  • Basic computer knowledge
